Hi, I'm ANNA

I’m a women’s health physiotherapist and Pilates teacher with 16 years of professional expertise under my belt. I have a lifetime of fascination with anatomy and physiology, and a bit of a bee in my bonnet about improving women’s health and wellbeing!

I’m a proud midlife mum myself, who has been through all the ups and downs. The juggle, changes and challenges of pregnancy, motherhood, and beyond. Physiotherapy and Pilates are the tools I used to help myself, and many of the women I have worked with over the years. 

I am a Chartered and HCPC-registered physiotherapist. I have gained Pilates certification with APPI and am an affiliate member of the POGP (Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy)

Women’s health physiotherapy specialises in all things pelvis and core related for women at all stages of life including perinatal and perimenopause. Pelvic health issues can include bladder and bowel problems, pelvic floor dysfunction and prolapse. Pregnancy and birth can require time and support to ensure proper physical and emotional recovery from C-section, diastasis recti and perineal trauma. With all my patients I treat the whole woman with my understanding of her anatomy, physiology and the emotional and social context of her life.

My approach blends traditional and therapeutic Pilates principles with current evidence and my understanding of my clients’ needs and abilities.
